Our founder
Dr. Hyungi Kim
Violinist Hyungi Kim is a celebrated soloist, chamber musician, and educator hailing from Korea, known for her dynamic range and emotive performances. Each year, she graces the stage in over 50 concerts worldwide, exploring an extensive repertoire from Baroque intricacies to Romantic virtuosity and contemporary compositions. Her musical journey has led her to prestigious stages such as the Naantali Music Festival in Finland, Kronberg Festival in Germany, Beethoven Festival in Poland, and tours across Russia, the United States, and China, among others.
Beyond her international career, Hyungi Kim held multiple community performances that aimed to uplift audiences such as hospital patients. These experiences revealed the profound impact that music could have on people in difficult circumstances—sparking joy and offering solace. Inspired to broaden this impact, Hyungi founded music4good in Malaysia, with a vision to make the arts accessible to those who are often overlooked. Through collaborations with corporations, private institutions, public institutions, and community organizations, music4good aims to harness the transformative power of music to uplift, heal, and inspire.
